My best friend, my soul sister, started wearing the hijab yesterday and wallahi, she has never looked more beautiful to me since the first day we became the bestest of friends ten years ago :’) When interviewed by yours truly on how she felt after going through the day with the hijab, she beamed as we bobbed up and down on the seesaw and replied, Happy! Happy! I have freedom in my heart! I have freedom in my soul! I feel so free I could fly! Really, I’m very happy! I’m veeeeeeh happy! Alhamdulillah. All praises to You, Ya Robb :) May He increase all of our imaan and taqwa, and give us the strength to take steps closer to Him, InsyaAllah, ameen!
